North East law firm to create new jobs with opening of third office in growth expansion
A North East firm of solicitors has announced its plans to open a third office and expand its workforce.
EMG Solicitors provides services across court of protection, wills, trusts, probate, family, employment, residential conveyancing and commercial property.
Based in Durham and Newcastle, EMG has doubled its number of team members to 73 in the past two years. The new office will be located in the Lake District.
Emma Gaudern, MD of EMG Solicitors, said: “We’re delighted to have such a strong team in every department of the business.
“I’ve been delighted with the quality of candidates wishing to work with us since introducing our trainee recruitment scheme and I am looking forward to helping create the new generation of legal professionals at EMG.”
Due to the growing team, EMG had already been looking at hybrid working before Covid-19, and brought its IT support in-house. The firm now offers all the equipment needed to work from home along with developing a web and app-based booking system to allow members to reserve a desk if they need to come into the office.
The company’s IT team is also developing a system to help improve the way that clients are digitally engaged and enjoy the same level of service they would receive in a face to face meeting.
EMG Solicitors has full Lexcel accreditation, the legal practice quality mark for client care, compliance and practice management run by The Law Society.
