The deal was led by David Salamons, Corporate and Hospitality Partner at gunnercooke, who has acted for the Barworks group since its inception and works collaboratively with partners across the firm’s broad practice areas. The gunnercooke team included Harriet Collins and Shabab Ahmed on the Corporate side, Catherine Payne and Paul Sprague on Property, Paul Ryman on Employment and Julian Moran on Tax.
David commented: “As we emerge from the pandemic and out of the lockdowns of the past two years, we are seeing a surge in demand as the hospitality industry becomes active again, making up for lost time!
“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Barworks since the company first formed and look forward to continuing our work together as we move into an exciting era of further acquisitions.”
