Business advisors come together to support Start-ups

Expert advisors from the North East of England are joining forces to pass on their knowledge to new business owners, and to those who are thinking about taking the leap, to help them build solid foundations as they start their new ventures.

Jacksons Law Firm, FW Capital and Azets are hosting a free event to deliver advice and guidance to start-up businesses on 15th February at the Business Innovation Centre (BIC), Sunderland.

Those speaking on the day include, Peter Robinson, Partner and Head of Corporate and Commercial at Jacksons, his colleague, Paul Clark, Partner and Head of Employment, Alex Gent, Investment Executive of FW Capital, Paul Topham, Managing Partner of Azets Durham and his colleague Jamie Harding, Manager.

All speakers have been working with a wide range of business owners for many years taking them from start-up stage to floating them on Aim and/or the full list, in all cases helping them grow, helping them access to funds and ensuring they have the right employment documents in place to protect their business.

Those attending the event can expect to pick up practical tips for running a successful business including how to get ready for investment, keep your house in order, the importance of having essential documents in place before employing people, how to access grants and funds, the different types of tax relief that are available including capital allowances, an outline of VAT, share structures and family tax planning.

There will be opportunities to put questions to the speakers and have one to one discussion with them after the talks.

Peter Robinson said,
