MootUp announces one billion avatar style combinations to promote diversity in the metaverse

MootUp, the world’s most powerful 3D virtual and hybrid events solution for the metaverse, now offers over one billion avatar style combinations for its users.

The launch comes as part of MootUp’s commitment to promote diversity and inclusion in the metaverse.

Users of the avatar-based event platform can create customizable 3D avatars, either modeling their appearance on how they look in the physical world or creating avatars to show how they would like to be represented. MootUp offers a large library of skin, hair and eye colors along with thousands of clothing choices, meaning virtual attendees can show their personality and be more accurately represented in the 3D space.

The 3D avatars help facilitate social interactions by providing a large library of gestures and expressions while enabling several methods of communication such as group audio calls, private chat and video conferencing. MootUp’s 3D avatars help foster a feeling of co-presence in shared environments, which is essential for creating positive and engaging online communities.

Unlike other platforms which require users to download software or require VR headsets, MootUp runs on any browser and any device with no downloads or installations. All online events can be accessed via a web link, meaning that anyone can access the 3D virtual environments in a matter of seconds using their own unique avatar.

The expansion of its avatar style combinations follows the launch of MootUp OnDemand - an on-demand service for businesses planning to host 3D online virtual events. It allows organizations to create a persistent 3D virtual world that can be accessed at any time. The world can be used to host events and meetings, ranging from large scale conferences, all-hands and sales kick-offs to social gatherings and product launches.

MootUp is powered by the soon to be launched Hyperspace Metaverse Platform. Hyperspace is a 3D Engine, and the first native web 3.0 Metaverse for Business platform. Hyperspace is scheduled for a beta launch in February in 2022, with a final launch to follow soon after.

MootUp and Hyperspace are the brainchilds of Danny Stefanic, creator of the world’s first web metaverse. He has been involved in the creation of ground-breaking 3D businesses for over 27 years and is considered one of the world’s leading voices on the metaverse for business.

Danny Stefanic, Founder and CEO of MootUp and Hyperspace, said: “We are committed to making the metaverse a diverse and inclusive space. By expanding our avatar library, we ensure that any business or organization that uses our metaverse platform for live, interactive events can offer their participants the ability to have fully customizable, digital representations of themselves.

“Since the launch of MootUp, we’ve found that 3D avatars can help users who are typically reluctant to speak up in real life feel more comfortable speaking and participating in the virtual space. As more companies adopt remote working practices, digital avatars within the metaverse can address those issues commonly faced by employees, such as stress and fatigue linked to video conference calls.

“MootUp will be constantly expanding our customizable avatar library until there are truly unlimited opportunities.”
