Recruitment drive at Leeds Jaguar Land Rover dealership
Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Leeds is holding a recruitment event following a surge in business. The dealership on Gemini Business Park, Sheepscar Way, is looking for a number of technicians, including technicians experienced in working with electric vehicles.
Technicians working for the company receive an extensive benefits package, which includes a £1,000 joining bonus and a further £1,000 after 12 months employment, an above-market wage of up to £40,000 per annum (plus bonus), stock options, and an enhanced maternity scheme for new mothers that pays 90 percent of weekly average earning for the first six months of leave. The company also provides encourages staff to gain new qualifications, which in turn can lead to an increase in salary. A recent colleague satisfaction survey found that more than 90% of people enjoyed their job and 85% of colleagues would recommend the company as a great place to work to others. As part of its recruitment drive, the dealership is holding an opening evening on Wednesday February 9 from 5pm to 8pm, where those attending will be given a tour of the showroom and its facilities as well as the opportunity to meet staff.
