Global pharmaceutical business Pharmanovia welcomes new talent through bespoke graduate scheme
Pharmanovia, the life cycle management company, has today launched a graduate programme offering university graduates a chance to take their first steps in the pharmaceutical sector. Aligned with the Government’s pledge to create ‘high-skilled’ jobs in the industry, Pharmanovia’s graduate programme champions equality and provides vital exposure in the early stages of graduates’ careers by offering placements within a disruptive and global business.
The company’s new scheme will offer university graduates the chance to contribute to key projects, learn best practices and processes, work closely with Pharmanovia’s leadership team, benefit from seasoned mentors, and develop a dynamic network. Placements are being offered within a variety of divisions, including Pharmanovia’s business development, data analytics, digital marketing, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and communications teams. At the end of the two-year tenure, successful candidates will be offered the chance to secure a full-time role at Pharmanovia.
Dr James Burt, Chief Executive Officer, Pharmanovia, said, “We remain committed to making the pharmaceutical sector an open, enriching, and exciting avenue for recent graduates or postgraduates. It is our duty to offer routes into one of the most important sectors of the economy, and one which has huge impact to society. We have noticed that over the last few years, the job market has been difficult to navigate’ for graduates looking to kick-start careers in the sector. Through this scheme, we intend to demonstrate the development opportunities available in the pharmaceutical sector and progress our commitment to develop young talent.
“Over the last couple of years, the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector has been squarely in the spotlight with the Prime Minister noting that he “cannot think of a time when we have been more indebted to the astonishing power of life sciences”1. Pharmanovia’s graduate programme takes the Prime Minister’s vision of “creating high-skilled jobs that will level up communities across the country”2 and endeavours to develop a pipeline of highly skilled talent by providing vital exposure to young starters.”
Founded in 2013, Pharmanovia focuses on delivering high-quality branded prescription medicines to patients, prescribers, and healthcare providers across the world. Its current therapeutics focus includes cardiovascular, gastroenterology, oncology, endocrinology, and neurology.
