Trio of new starters for Wilmslow law firm
Property conveyancing specialists, JBGass has announced a trio of new starters at its office in Wilmslow.
Stephanie Burke from Widnes joins as Operations Manager with responsibility for client service and strategy. Her role also sees her supporting the firm’s fee earners. Stephanie is dual-qualified as a Legal Executive and is also a Licenced Conveyancer.
Lauren Cunningham has been appointed as an Associate Solicitor, a role that will see her carrying out residential and commercial conveyancing at the firm. Lauren lives in Heaton Moor.
Completing the trio is Melissa Kirkham from Poynton who has joined as a Plots Conveyancer. In her role Melissa acts for the company’s property developer clients, liaising with the purchasers’ solicitors; ensuring the timely processing and completion of the property sale transaction.
JBGass has adopted a flexible hybrid work model with staff working from home and in the office on specific days.
Speaking about the firm’s new recruits, Rick Barrow, Marketing Director said, “We are delighted to have Stephanie, Lauren and Melissa join us as we expand our team to meet ever-escalating demand.
“The property market, as has been well reported, was particularly buoyant during the pandemic and the expected slump didn’t materialise. As a result, we are busier than ever.”
Speaking about their flexible approach to work, Rick said, “Attracting the best candidates has always been a priority for us.
“The change in attitude about where people work and the realisation that people can work effectively from home has been one of the good things to come out of the pandemic.”
