This week’s round up of London appointments includes Future plc, Thomas International and Gravitas Recruitment Group. Read on to find out more.

Claire Blunt, Future plc

Future plc, the global platform for specialist media, has today announced the appointment of Claire Blunt as chief operating officer.

Claire is currently chief advertising officer and CEO of International for the Guardian Media Group. Prior to joining the Guardian Media Group, Claire was chief financial, operations & data officer for Hearst Europe, having joined Hearst as CFO of the UK operations in 2015.

She also held a number of senior roles in retail and consumer businesses earlier in her career. Claire will join Future on November 7.

Zillah Byng-Thorne, CEO of Future, said: “Claire holds extensive experience in senior roles at both The Guardian and Hearst, as well as in the retail sector, meaning she is a great fit for our business and will contribute a wealth of vital knowledge to support our continued success and global expansion.”

Luke McKeever and Jennie Drimmer, Thomas International

Thomas International, a global talent assessment platform provider, has announced the appointment of Luke McKeever as its new chief executive, and Jennie Drimmer as new chief sales officer. Luke will take the helm at Thomas to lead the business’s global expansion strategy.

Luke has held CEO positions across multiple international tech businesses including AIM-listed product discovery platform provider Attraqt, the community-focused SaaS platform Neighbourly.com, SaaS global trading network OB10, and AIM-listed marketing technology company Portrait Software.

Luke (pictured above) commented: “Thomas has over 40 years of heritage helping businesses better understand people so they can recruit and develop staff who will stay and flourish in their roles.”

The appointment comes alongside the arrival of Jennie Drimmer as Chief Sales Officer. Jennie brings over 20 years’ experience across the technology and professional services industry, with a significant focus on HR and business transformation.

Jennie comments: “I am delighted to be joining Thomas International at such an exciting time. I’m looking forward to defining strategies that impact immediate commercial outcomes, while also capturing and coaching the broader skills and processes needed to scale a global sales organisation.”

Kurt Schreurs, Gravitas Recruitment Group

Gravitas Recruitment Group, has announced the appointment of Kurt Schreurs as global chief revenue officer; alongside the opening of a German office and appointment of a German country director, Guido Sieber; and the opening of a further presence in northern Europe shortly.

As chief revenue officer, Kurt Schreurs will be responsible for advancing the company’s sales efforts and expansion plans and steering the sales teams towards significant breakthroughs from 2023 to positively impact global revenues.

Kurt joins Gravitas Group with over 25 years of international recruitment experience at SThree plc, the FTSE-listed international STEM specialist recruiter. There, he led over 1200 employees across the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, UK, Ireland, Dubai, Singapore, and Japan.
