Northumberland SMEs invited to “unlock the power of social media” at Alnwick Gardens
“Get motivated, creative and feel inspired’’ is the message to local businesses who are invited to a “star-studded” event at Alnwick Garden this October.
Northumberland based support programme Business Northumberland is welcoming business owners from across Northumberland and the North East to Alnwick Garden on Thursday October 20 for their annual conference, Content Unlocked, Create, Motivate and Inspire with Business Northumberland.
This free event has been designed to help small to medium sized businesses unlock the power of social media to help get their business online to promote business growth.
Business Northumberland provides support to SMEs across the North East who are looking to sustain and grow their business online. The fully funded support programme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Advance Northumberland, thus there is no cost to eligible businesses when accessing the support.
Businesses in attendance will hear from a panel of local small business owners who have acquired millions of followers and views across social media which has, in turn, led to a growth in sales, celebrity endorsements and even being stocked online by huge brands. The afternoon will see a range of bitesize workshops led by industry experts.
The world of social media is said to be “constantly evolving”. And 2022 has brought on more change than usual. Brands are building “huge” followings on TikTok. Other networks are adding TikTok’s features and changing to its algorithm.
This one-day, hands-on event promises to help businesses “make sense of it” all and “unlock their potential”. Content Unlocked promises to give businesses a unique, enjoyable, and interactive insight to content creation, social media platforms and how it can benefit their business, no matter what industry.
Justin Lockwood from Heart and Metro radio fame invites the owners of Novo Cabelo, Squelch Wellies & Kaima Cosmetics for a Q&A to talk about their journeys and how they have harnessed the “power of social media” to catapult their business in front of an audience of millions.
Not only are local businesses set to benefit from the content on the day, but they can continue their growth journey with specially developed workshops hosted by Business Northumberland throughout the remainder of 2022.
