Oxford engineering consultancy expands to over 100 staff via Peterborough based acquisition
Engineering consultancy QODA Consulting has acquired Peterborough based building services company Cunnington Clark, which provides mechanical, electrical and public health design services to expand its reach into the East of England.
The investment in Cunnington Clark means that QODA has now passed 100 UK based employees and has added a new office in Peterborough. Headquartered in Oxford, the company also has offices in London, Bristol and Norwich.
The Cunnington Clark team’s integration into QODA will offer its design teams and clients additional technical expertise and extensive experience. The new Peterborough team will work alongside the Cambridge, London, and Norwich offices, to strengthen its offering in the Eastern region of England.
Associate director James Parrott will lead QODA’s new Peterborough office with support from Managing Director David Clark and Regional Director David White.
QODA Consulting director and founder, Nick Carter, commented: “We have worked closely with David and his team on several projects, and they are a great fit for QODA. David and his team bring diverse experience from many sectors, several chartered engineers, and low carbon energy assessors.
“Their approach focuses on excellent design quality, innovation, consistency, and added value, which align perfectly with our core values at QODA. We are committed to delivering a high-quality, personal service for our clients. The acquisition of Cunnington Clark will allow us to expand our offering in the East of England.”
Cunnington Clark was founded in 2001, and its work includes office and commercial, science and research, education, university and schools, residential, and industrial projects.
David Clark, managing director of Cunnington Clark, added: “QODA are a natural partner for the team at Cunnington Clark to join. This was a significant opportunity for our team to develop, grow, and work on projects across the UK.”
