Leeds solicitors appoints local design firms to carry out "major" office refurbishment
Commercial interior designers Design Tonic and Bluesky Design Interiors have partnered to carry out the refurbishment of Wrigleys Solicitors offices in Wellington Place in Leeds.
Managing director at Design Tonic, Amanda Cook, explained: “We had the absolute pleasure of helping to deliver a first-class space for our client Wrigleys solicitors.
“Designed by our very talented friends over at Bluesky Design Interiors, it’s always extremely fulfilling to help bring such an incredible design to life, and it was a partnership that worked really well.
“Having occupied the space for over 20yrs, it was a brilliant opportunity to completely transform the working areas and modernise the building. It is refreshing to see companies invest in both their employees and clients by transforming their offices in this way”.
Creating the designs for the new offices MD at Bluesky, Fiona Collier added: “Our project for Wrigleys was under timescale pressure from the start, and early on we formed a great working relationship with the team at Design Tonic.
“We had fantastic communication with the guys on site and their positive approach meant the project was completed with very little input from our side. We wanted to design an area which is modern but still traditional, the results are simply stunning with the lighter wood & neutral tones helping to create an airy, warm, welcoming space.
“The lighting elements have been carefully thought out; from the incredible coffered lit ceiling & pendant lighting to the stunning wall lights & lit artwork displays, the whole area simply oozes with sophistication and class.
“Every aspect of the space really has been carefully thought out for both practicality & design and the results really do speak for themselves. We are delighted with Design Tonics’ realisation of the scheme and look forward to working on our next project together.”
The collaboration worked well for Wrigleys and their Project Manager, Luke Tasker, who noted: “After providing an oxymoronic brief to BlueSky and Design Tonic of ‘modern traditional’, Wrigleys Solicitors LLP are extremely happy with the finished result.
“Throughout the project, BlueSky took time to constantly refine and re-evaluate the design to ensure we got to a point that worked for us – their overall experience shone through as they helped guide us throughout the process whilst not forcing our hand.”
“The flexibility that Design Tonic showed through the pre-construction, fit-out and handover stages was outstanding.”
