Bdaily Are Hiring: Marketing and Content Coordinator

Bdaily are looking for an ambitious marketing professional to drive growth of the brand both regionally and nationally.

In addition to timely news and other business content, we provide online advertising and content marketing services to our clients via Bdaily Marketing, and serve additional exclusive content to our Bdaily Premium subscribers.

As the Marketing and Content Coordinator for Bdaily, you will lead on devising and implementing the business’ marketing strategy. You will work to promote Bdaily Marketing’s advertising services and to further the reach of Bdaily News’ editorial content.

You will work with our long-term partners and clients to coordinate their activity on our platform; to deliver their campaigns and report on outcomes .

This varied role will involve producing marketing content aimed at promoting our commercial services. This is an opportunity to play a key part in the growth of a digital business by bringing new ideas to the table with a high level of autonomy.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing marketing materials for Bdaily Marketing and Bdaily News including email marketing campaigns, written content and image & video assets
  • Managing Bdaily social media accounts/groups on LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter
  • Working closely with the sales team to coordinate, manage, and report on client campaigns
  • Exploring new ways to develop the Bdaily offering and strategy
  • Supporting Bdaily Premium with content coordination and sourcing of new contributors
  • Performance reporting for Bdaily News, Bdaily Marketing and Bdaily Premium
  • Moderating Bdaily Member published content and various groups online

Skills and qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of B2B marketing and digital marketing best practices
  • Experience of commercial social media management and content scheduling platforms
  • Experience of marketing campaign planning & execution
  • Ability to produce visual digital assets (e.g. for social media) and written content
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, virtual and in person
  • The ability to work independently, whilst also playing an active role in the wider business

Desirable:

  • Experience with PPC & Paid Search

  • Canva/Photoshop/equivalent design platform
  • Google Analytics

  • Email Mass Send tools (e.g. MailChimp, Campaign Monitor)

  • CRM tools (HubSpot or similar)

You will enjoy working as part of a dedicated and supportive team in a working environment that’s conducive to rapid personal development. We currently operate a hybrid working model which involves working several days per week at our office near South Gosforth and remote working from home the rest of the time.
