Kelly Simpson, Chatter Communication’s

A Leeds head-quartered employer branding agency has announced it will be launching an office in London, appointing a senior team member to lead the new venture.

Following Chatter Communication’s most successful year to date, Kelly Simpson has been appointed as client partner, heading up the London office as the company looks to expand its business in the capital at a time when demand for its services continues to grow.

Kelly has a strong background in recruitment, head hunting, employee engagement, talent attraction and employer branding. She has held positions with Stafford Long, LinkedIn and, most recently, TMP Worldwide UK as client relationship director.

On her appointment, Kelly commented: “They deliver exceptional client service, along with beautiful, bold creative and digital projects and they’re a bunch of delightfully straight talking people. That’s the kind of company I want to be part of and I’m so happy to have been chosen to help build the agency in London.”

Audrey Lucy, Croud

Croud, the global, full-service digital marketing agency, today announces the appointment of Audrey Lucy as chief people officer, a new role for the business as it continues to expand its global footprint following a succession of new acquisitions and office openings during the last 24 months.

Audrey initially joined Croud in a part time consulting role in September last year as part of a wider consultancy portfolio, prior to being appointed as chief people officer. Throughout Audrey’s career, people have been at the centre of all of her work, whether as a consultant driving cultural transformation and leadership programmes, or leading in-house people teams.

Discussing her new appointment, Audrey said: “Having spent the last few months working with Croud as a consultant, I already feel so connected with the team, and I’m excited about the fantastic trajectory Croud is on as a business.”

Luke Smith, co-founder and CEO, also commented on the announcement: “Audrey joins at a pivotal time in Croud’s expansion to ensure we maintain our integrity as a people-centric business, driving and developing consistency globally while maintaining individual cultures and practices - against a backdrop of 30 per cent year-on-year growth and heading.”

Carl Grint, Vail Williams

Vail Williams has hired a new head for its expanding Property Asset Management (PAM) division following sustained business demand.

The appointment of experienced Carl Grint, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) who joins at Partner level, boosts the property consultancy’s ongoing strategic growth plan. Carl, who moved from Aitchison Raffety and previously spent 15 years at CNC Property Fund Management, has three decades’ experience in both commercial and residential property sectors.

Carl started his career in residential estate agency, qualifying as a chartered surveyor and moving into client-side mixed portfolio property fund and asset management work, before moving into property management agency work.

He said: “I am delighted to have joined Vail Williams at Partner level. This is a great opportunity to continue to grow the firm’s offering and deliver a second-to-none service while developing and nurturing our excellent team.”

Vail Williams’ managing partner Matthew Samuel-Camps said: “Changing and growing demand has led us to strengthen our team and I am gratified that we have such a seasoned operator as Carl heading the PAM operations.”
