Rob McKenzie, Harpreet Chhatwal, Erin Herbert, Steve Gordon & Joe Baily, Heur

Heur - a business growth agency specialising in direct-to-consumer eCommerce - has welcomed five new hires to bolster its senior leadership team. The hires come after a raft of new business successes contributed to an extremely strong start to the year at the agency.

The new hires join the Heur team from the likes of Allies and SimplyBiz where they previously held titles such as Operations Director and Director of Growth. Rob McKenzie joins Heur as Managed Services Director and will take charge of leading and iterating the core Heur product offering. Rob has vast experience with D2C brands and eCommerce marketing at Northern agencies such as Allies and twentysix.

Harpreet Chhatwal joins from digital marketing agency OutTo Sea which was acquired by Heur in January. Harpreet will take on the role of Operations Director which will see him drive Heur forward in efficiency and quality of tooling and reporting to ensure clients are meaningfully served with actionable insights.

Erin Herbert who was senior digital operations manager at SimplyBiz, will join Heur as client services director, with responsibility for upholding Heur’s ‘Client Success First’ values

Steve Gordon has been brought on as Heur’s consultant Finance Director, subcontracted from the CFO Centre Ltd. Steve will support the team with operational and strategic financial advice, bringing over 35 years of experience in Finance and over 18 years at board level.

Joe Baily will be joining as a non exec director, with a 16-year strong career in helping organisations deliver growth through people management, business processes, transformation and strategic acquisitions. This has also included exiting his own multi-million pound digital marketing agency.

Kieran Bird, Kian Erakovic, Harry Whitfield & Georgina Snodgrass, Navigation Wealth Management

Yorkshire-based financial advisers Navigation Wealth Management have made four appointments to its teams across Beverley and Wakefield, highlighting the firm’s commitment to career progression.

Kieran Bird and Georgina Snodgrass have been promoted from the administrative support team and are now senior administrators. Having completed his apprenticeship, Kian Erakovic has secured a full-time position as a new member of the administrative support team. Meanwhile, Harry Whitfield joins Navigation Wealth as its new apprentice.

Matt Hammond, chief executive at Navigation Wealth, which has offices in Beverley and Wakefield, said: “One of our core values as a firm centres around being aspirational. So investing in the training of our team is essential to us. We like nothing better than to welcome people as apprentices and see them progress through the ranks, learning every part of the business.

“We are also delighted to welcome Harry to the Navigation Wealth family. We’ve seen his potential and can’t wait to see his progression.”

Andy Cocker, Hentons

Thriving business Hentons Corporate Finance is yet again expanding as their booming success within the mergers and acquisitions market continues. The addition of Andy Cocker, as a Business Development Manager, further illustrates the businesses continued growth within the market, as well as their ambitions for the future.

Hentons Corporate Finance are continuing pursue growth and development across all the firm’s national footprint, with Director of Corporate Finance, Chris Sellars, being positive about the scope of opportunity.

Andy will be the ninth addition to the Hentons Corporate Finance team, after doubling staff numbers in under 12 months. He said: “I am excited to get involved and will be helping to build a project pipeline and will be offering support on funding.”

Chris Sellars believes the appointment of Andy presents prolific opportunities for the business: “Welcoming Andy is not only proof that we’re growing, but also an opportunity to create even more of an impact within our markets. We will lean on Andy’s experience within the funding world to support clients who may be considering or actively looking at changing funders.

Andy will be based in the firm’s Sheffield office. He said he was looking forward to working at Hentons Corporate Finance: “I am looking forward to adding value and working alongside a team that has shown no sign of stopping. There is plenty of opportunity for growth and I am keen to be part of that journey”.

Royd Brayshay, NewRedo

Leeds-based software development specialists, NewRedo has decided to take a turn in direction, after co-founder, Royd Brayshay has become the sole shareholder and CEO of the company.

Now CEO of NewRedo, Royd Brayshay shared: “I am honoured to be the one guiding our team through the changes we’ll be making, as we expand our team and offering, to further grow the business and continue to provide the best innovative, business-focused software solutions we can to our clients.”

The company, which is already well-established in the Yorkshire region, particularly for specialising in working with healthcare, pharmaceuticals and finance sector clients has ambitious growth targets both locally and nationally in 2023.

Over the next year, NewRedo will be improving their offering to clients further by bringing in fresh new skills and talent to their team - which is based in the well-known Leeds Tech Hub, Platform, near the train station.

Co-founder and previous co-director, Phill Luby commented: “I’m proud of everything the business has achieved to date and to have played my part in leading NewRedo into becoming a trusted software solutions business in Yorkshire over the last 13 years.
