Newcastle proptech company launches recruitment drive to find new tech talent
North East based proptech company iamproperty has launched a new recruitment drive, setting out to find the next wave of tech talent to strengthen its team and support ongoing growth at an exciting time for the business.
There are 10 jobs being created initially with a range of roles to bolster iamproperty’s technology team, following the appointment of chief technology officer Neil Hope earlier this year, as the business gears up to launch its next phase of “market-leading innovation”.
New roles include a technology lead, solutions architect, software engineers (juniors and seniors), test manager, tech delivery manager, system administrator and software support engineers. Applications are now open and interviews will take place between May and August.
iamproperty works with over 5,300 Estate Agency branches across the UK, creating tech solutions to make agents’ lives easier. Its iamsold auction service is market-leading and its movebutler platform was a first of its kind for the market.
Founded in 2009, the business is headquartered in Gosforth and has grown at pace over the last few years in particular, now employing over 480 people nationwide.
Successful candidates will have an opportunity to play a key role in the next phase of iamproperty’s innovation, helping to bring to life its vision to create an ecosystem of solutions that will provide Estate Agents with a single platform combining all of its products and services.
Neil Hope commented: “Technology has always been at the core of iamproperty and as we move forward it will play a huge part in creating our vision of a connected experience for our Partner Agents, which will be an exciting journey for new recruits to be part of.
“It doesn’t end there as we’re also going to transform our technology landscape and strategy, so it’s going to be a great place for technology professionals to come and work with modern standards, and the opportunity to learn during our transformation over the next few years.
Ben Ridgway, iamproperty co-founder, added: “Our business has been built on innovation and always looking for a better way, to make Estate Agents’ lives easier and give them the freedom to do what they do best.
“Our ecosystem will take this even further as we prepare to enter a new era of product and service innovation, so with this recruitment drive we are looking for tech specialists who are interested in proptech and its potential to transform the home moving process for everyone that’s involved.”
