Steven Bartlett’s marketing company expands into US market with acquisition
Flight Story, the marketing and communication company co-founded by Steven Bartlett and Oliver Yonchev, has announced the 100 per cent acquisition of Flight Performance, and subsequent launch into the US market.
Flight Performance is a performance marketing offering that accelerates growth for disruptive brands through “cutting-edge” strategies across creative, influencer marketing, paid social, paid search, email and SMS.
Based in New York, LA, Manchester, the Philippines and London, Flight Performance will join the Flight Story ecosystem, with the sole aim of keeping its clients at the forefront of the changing digital media landscape.
Part of the digital and social media landscape since 2004, Daniel James founded Mint Performance Marketing in 2019 and will lead Flight Performance from the LA headquarters.
The launch of Flight Performance also marks Flight Story’s entry into the US, with offices now in London, New York, Los Angeles and Manchester, and a team of 120+ offering 360 marketing services offering to brands who want to be at the forefront of what’s possible.
With growth into new markets comes an expansion to the Flight Story team, Neil Gissler joins as a non-executive director to lead on the agency’s global growth strategy.
Neil is a recognised industry leader with extensive experience in building and scaling global marketing organisations, including his most recent role as Global Chief Operating Officer at £3.5bn+ Dentsu, in which Neil designed and implemented a new growth-oriented operating model and global organisation design.
Steven Bartlett, co-founder of Flight Story commented: “The world is changing at an ever-increasing pace, we’re at the start of a series of new exponential curves that will undoubtedly transform life as we know it.
“That’s why I’ve founded Flight Story; because we believe that exponential change creates exponential opportunity and we believe we’re uniquely positioned to help the world’s leading brands capitalise on that opportunity.
“We’re stepping into the third iteration of the internet as we know it, a more decentralised, immersive, artificially intelligent internet, where new rules apply.
“With our acquisition of Mint Performance Marketing we’re adding a talented collective of individuals who understand these new rules and how to use them to help disruptive brands achieve their marketing goals.”
