**Paul Kaiser, WilliamsAl

WilliamsAli, the North East’s specialist M&A boutique, has announced that award-winning dealmaker, Paul Kaiser, has taken up the position of chairman.

In the role of Chairman, Paul will share his skills and experience to support founders, Abu Ali and Phil Williams, in guiding and developing the WilliamsAli team and further strengthening its position in the North East marketplace.

His appointment as chairman by WilliamsAli is mutual recognition of the alignment between Paul’s experience, skillset and knowledge, and the boutique firm’s continued focus on providing a fresh and friendly approach to transactions backed up by technical excellence.

Paul Kaiser said of the appointment: “For me, this appointment brings the opportunity to support the continued development of an outstanding team, which is something I have enjoyed doing and which has underpinned the success I achieved over my advisory career.”

Daniel Montana, Muckle LLP

Newcastle-based leading law firm Muckle LLP has recently expanded its top-ranked commercial team by adding newly qualified lawyer Daniel Montana to its ranks.

In his role in the commercial team, headed by partner Alex Craig, Daniel will be giving legal advice to clients on areas such as contract, procurement, intellectual property and tech.

Before joining Muckle, Daniel took time to travel around Australia, America and South East Asia before joining a large international law firm. Daniel said: “I’m excited to get stuck into my work on the commercial team at Muckle. I’ll be working on a variety of projects, from smaller contracts to larger legal agreements, and no one day will be the same.

“Muckle stood out to me amongst other firms as being genuine and down to earth, and it was an opportunity I couldn’t miss out on. Having previously worked for larger organisations, I’m looking forward to working with a tight-knit and highly represented team and excited to see where my career at Muckle will take me.”

Alex Craig, partner and head of the commercial team, said: “As a top-ranked team, we are constantly looking for new talent to help us continue to deliver fantastic work to our clients. Daniel is an incredible asset to the team and I have no doubt he will continue to grow here at Muckle.”

sally Hart & Richard Garland, George F. White

Specialist property consultancy George F. White has announced Sally Hart and Richard Garland as joint Managing Partners as the business enters the next stage of its evolution.

Having been instrumental to George F. White’s heightened growth in recent years, the pair have come together to strategically lead the firm’s ambitious vision for continued growth, following its most successful year to date.

Sally, who took the role of managing director last year, will focus on business strategy and operations, as well as leading the property management and agency teams. Richard, who has been promoted from Partner, will focus on business development and high-level strategic client work.

Both have been at the forefront of the businesses continued evolution and helped define the client offering upon which the strong growth has been founded. Former managing partner Robyn Peat has taken the role of Chairman and will remain in the business and on the firm’s executive board as well as continuing to work with clients.

Sally said: “Our team has a lot to be proud of as we end the financial year, and much to look forward to on the journey ahead. We’re in a strong position to be creating even more job opportunities and have some brilliant roles available now to join the team and be part of our expansion.”
