Calvin Green, Kaizen

Kaizen has appointed Calvin Green, who joined the team as its Head of Client Services in May. The move comes from the London-based marketing agency’s continuous momentum and entering a new stage of stable growth and maturity.

Calvin joins from QueryClick, where he was the Account Director and leading member of their management team. He supported the implementation of strategic initiatives that influenced change and growth.

Calvin says, “I am thrilled to be joining the senior management team at Kaizen at such an exciting time for the agency. Their industry-leading specialism in digital PR, SEO and influencer marketing is very exciting, and the future is bright for the agency.

“This, combined with their ambitious growth plans, award-winning company culture and huge potential, meant this was a role I couldn’t turn down. I look forward to collaborating with our excellent specialists across the business to find new ways to delight our client base and accelerate their digital growth.”.

Jeremy McDonald, manager director of Kaizen, adds, “It is really exciting to have Calvin joining our team. We are in a position where we’ve genuinely honed our craft in terms of our services, and now it’s time to focus our efforts on fostering deeper relationships with our clients.”

James Geary, EMW

EMW has announced the appointment of James Geary as the firm’s first managing partner in almost two decades. EMW is a full-service law firm with offices in London, Milton Keynes, Gatwick and Brighton working with both UK and International clients.

He spent five years as head of legal at The Wastepack Group before returning to the firm as Head of Commercial and, in 2019, took on the role of Head of Business Development.

Nick Lloyd, Chair of EMW, said: “Given the rapid evolution of the legal market, the management team believe that EMW will best thrive under the stewardship and guidance of a lawyer, reinstating the first Managing Partner role in nearly 20 years.

“James has played a key role in driving the strategic direction of the business for many years and is the ideal person to lead EMW forward, further strengthening the USPs that set us apart in the marketplace.”

James said: “EMW is an extremely strong business with fantastic clients and a dedicated and knowledgeable team - it is in excellent shape and I look forward to taking the firm forward as Managing Partner, delivering on an exciting and ambitious growth strategy.”
