South Yorkshire based edtech business celebrates hitting “pivotal milestone”

Sheffield based Tutorful, a fast-growing private tuition marketplace, has reached an “impressive milestone”, with over 3 million lessons having now taken place through the platform.

Since Tutorful was founded in 2014, the edtech has:

• Helped 193,000 students pass an exam, learn a language, or try their hand at a brand new skill
• Taught 1.5 million lessons in GCSE and A-Level subjects, helping students across the country to unlock their full potential
• Taught 800,000 maths lessons, 466,000 English lessons and 433,000 science lessons
• Helped thousands of tutors build a successful tutoring business who have received over 81,000 5 star reviews.

To celebrate this “amazing achievement”, hundreds of Tutorful’s students and tutors nominated each other in a bid to secure a special prize. 10 winning tutors received a luxury hamper, and our 10 winning students were awarded £150 Tutorful lesson credit to continue with their learning journey.

Tutorful received hundreds of nominations with the winning tutors having been praised for their “professionalism, patience, enthusiasm”, and ability to inspire their students. Tutorful’s students have been described as “diligent, dedicated, and eager to learn”. They have shown impressive progress, resilience, and determination in overcoming challenges.
