This week's London appointments: Featuring Trinity, Dyaco UK Ltd & Legal & General

This week’s round up of London appointments includes Trinity, Dyaco UK Ltd & Legal & General. Read on to find out more.

Harry Kirkpatrick, Trinity

Trinity, the beloved neighbourhood restaurant in Clapham Old Town, is thrilled to announce the return of the prodigiously talented Harry Kirkpatrick to the role of head chef.

Kirkpatrick is not a new face in the Trinity family, having formerly held a senior role in the kitchen team before seeking new culinary adventures. His exceptional culinary journey saw him mirroring the apprenticeship of Adam Byatt at Claridge’s Hotel, under the auspices of the esteemed Royal Academy of Culinary Arts. His wealth of experience also includes a two-year stint at the world-renowned Eleven Madison Park.

Notably, Kirkpatrick’s most recent position was as the senior sous at one of London’s most exciting recent culinary additions, working under the renowned chef Alex Dilling. Here, he gained substantial recognition for his innovative approach and commitment to excellence.

On Kirkpatrick’s appointment, Byatt said, “Harry is one of those chefs you come across only a handful of times. An inspirational chef and leader, with a true passion for excellence, a love for produce and a future industry leader.”

Byatt further added, “I am delighted to welcome Harry back to Trinity to lead his kitchen team forward gastronomically and to mentor him into the restaurateur he will become, allowing him to grow our guest experience to be the very best it can be.”

Jon Johnston, Dyaco UK Ltd

Dyaco UK Ltd, a leading supplier and manufacturer of premium commercial gym equipment in the UK & Ireland, today announced the appointment of Jon Johnston as senior vice president of Europe. The appointment marks a transition from Jon’s 9-month consultation role as UK managing director, enabling him to further oversee and invest in Dyaco UK Ltd’s commercial growth.

Jon brings 30 years of health and fitness industry experience with a proven track record of driving significant business growth, including putting Matrix Fitness UK on the map, building it to become one of the country’s fastest-growing commercial fitness companies.

During Jon’s successful tenure, spanning a decade as Matrix’s Managing Director, he led the company into eight consecutive years of rapid growth taking sales from £3m to over £40m, where he helped leverage financial strength, logistics and service capabilities to facilitate the expansion of nascent key clients, such as Pure Gym, The Gym Group, Xercise for Less, and later, the public sectors.

On his new appointment Jon said: “Having now transitioned into my role as Senior Vice President of Europe, whilst we expand our European base, my aim is to ensure Dyaco UK Ltd continues to provide a supportive and seamless experience to facility operators looking to create their ideal fitness facility.”

Andy Wilson, Legal & General

Legal & General has announced the appointment of a new Community and Estate Manager at Crayfields Park, the 22-acre mixed-use scheme providing quality office and industrial space in Orpington. Andy Wilson, a local resident for over 30 years, entrepreneur, and campaigner, has now taken on the role.

As a local resident and community leader, Andy has also spearheaded several community focused campaigns, and chairs many of the stakeholder community groups that drive voluntary initiatives, projects, and events in the Crays area of Orpington.

In line with Legal & General’s vision, Andy will use his experience of supporting the local community to make the public spaces more accessible for all stakeholders, enabling closer engagement with Crayfields Park’s businesses, as well as nearby residents and schools.

Nigel Marsden, senior asset manager, Legal & General, commented: “Andy has great experience in both areas, and will bring huge energy to the role as we look to evolve Crayfields Park, making it a more accessible and welcoming place for the people who work here and who are part of the surrounding community.”

Andy Wilson, community and estate manager at Crayfields Park, added: “Crayfields Park has huge potential to deliver economic and social benefit for St Paul’s Cray and Orpington more widely, and I’m excited to be part of it.”
