Tristone Healthcare clinches CPD accreditation as part of ambitious training initiative

Tristone Healthcare – the independent buy and build investment group – has become a CPD accredited training provider and will launch a series of bespoke training packages for businesses across its portfolio.

The investor has been approved by the CPD Accreditation Service – the largest Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certification organisation in the UK – and is now registered on the CPD Provider Directory.

As part of the ambitious initiative, Tristone has developed a face-to-face training package designed specifically for the social care sector. Upon completion of the training, employees working across Tristone’s portfolio/business community will earn CPD points as part of their individual professional development, as well as receiving a Certificate of Continuing Professional Development.

Daryl Holkham, Director of Corporate Governance at Tristone Healthcare, commented: “Becoming an approved CPD accredited training provider is an exciting milestone for Tristone and our business community. We are delighted to be associated with CPD Certification Service, which will provide us with a recognised and trusted level of assurance for those attending and benefiting from the training we provide.

“This gives us an opportunity to tailor our training to the needs and requirements of community providers, giving us the scope to move away from ‘standardised’ or ‘process driven’ training that is simply a tick box exercise. It will allow us to speak directly to colleagues within the Tristone Community, with the aim to introduce more packages as we progress with the initiative.”

In 2022, employee numbers across the Tristone portfolio/business community grew from 364 to 616. During the same period, the investor launched a bespoke benefits scheme for all employees, together with an options scheme for management across all businesses, to ensure they share in the commercial success of the business.

Yannis Loucopoulos, CEO of Tristone Healthcare, added: “Tristone’s vision is to be a group of social care organisations that deliver best-in-class social care services, achieving outstanding outcomes for the individuals they care for and doing so whilst delivering superior long-term returns for all stakeholders. Our people are central to that vision, so it’s essential we remain focused on investing in their professional and personal development at every opportunity.

“Tristone recognises the value and importance of training, but equally that the training provided must be of high quality. As such, we are developing a range of bespoke training opportunities that are practice-based, relevant and will better enable us to augment our policies and values into practice.”
