Everflow Launches Graduate Scheme with an Influx of 10 Grads into the Expanding Business Utility Provider

15 September, Durham: Everflow, the UK’s leading business utility provider, announces the launch of its 18-month graduate scheme that aims to push holistic professional development and experiential learning to the fore. In addition to being assigned specific roles within the business, the successful ten graduates will also have the opportunity to participate in three two-week long internships where graduates can step outside their comfort zone and immerse themselves in different departments across Everflow.

Everflow believes this hands-on experience will help graduates build professional relationships across the business and provide a deeper understanding of the business as a whole.

This experience then feeds into Everflow’s unique Business Improvement Programme (BIP) in the final 2-months of the scheme. As part of this programme, graduate and current employees will form collaborative working groups tasked with designing and pitching projects aimed at enhancing some area(s) of the business. As well as encouraging teamwork and innovation, the BIP empowers graduates to make a tangible long-term impact on Everflow’s future growth and success by letting them run the project from start to finish. These elements of the scheme are designed to provide a well-rounded and enriching experience that equips the graduates with the skills, perspective, and confidence to thrive in their future careers.

As part of the scheme, graduates will be supported with a mentoring system designed to provide constant guidance and foster personal and professional development. In addition to regular managers, graduates will also have dedicated and experienced mentors who will provide regular one-to-one sessions to address any challenges they are facing. Additionally, graduates will participate in structured training programs, workshops, and cross-functional projects that promote skills-building and a full understanding of Everflow’s business.

Josh Gill, CEO at Everflow, comments:

At Everflow, we recognise the immense potential that recent graduates with fresh perspectives can bring to our organisation. Through this graduate scheme, we aim to provide this year’s intake with the time to adapt to our unique culture, understand our business intricacies and develop the necessary skills to contribute meaningfully.

As well as fostering long-term commitment, loyalty and engagement, the advantage of the scheme’s 18-month duration is that it gives us the confidence to invest in comprehensive training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. This helps ensure that our graduates are well-equipped to tackle complex challenges and potentially take on leadership roles within the company in the future.

Ultimately, this program aligns with our values and commitment to nurturing and retaining the brightest talent while strategically enhancing our workforce for sustained success and innovation to achieve wider business goals. At Everflow, we believe in a culture of continuous learning, encouraging people to grow as the business grows.”

Everflow has experienced a period of rapid expansion over the past few years. In 2022, the company boosted revenues by 47.2 per cent. Their new headquarters in Peterlee are triple the size of Everflow’s previous offices, boasting an impressive 29,000 square feet of exclusive space, providing a more productive work environment and unlocking recruitment opportunities to power the future scalability of the business.
