Mahin Ahmed, Get It Made

Manufacturing specialist Get It Made has appointed Mahin Ahmed as its new Customer Account Manager, to drive growth and expansion.

Mahin is a mechanical engineering graduate from Brunel University, and also brings with him experience from the recruitment industry, having worked as a consultant at TEKsystems, prior to joining Get It Made.

In Mahin’s new role at Get It Made, he will leverage both sets of specialist skills to drive the business forward by strengthening relationships with its expanding client base and identifying new business opportunities, as part of the company’s aim to accelerate its growth trajectory.

The strategic addition to the team comes amid a period of new contract wins for the London-based business which has ushered in significant growth. The London-based firm provides bespoke, high-quality manufacturing services including CNC machining and 3D printing to companies all over the globe, across multiple sectors from aerospace and automotive to healthcare and consumer.

Mahin said: “It is an exciting time to be joining Get It Made. The role gives me the perfect opportunity to leverage both my fundamental skills as an engineer and in business development.”

Alex McMillen, Christie Finance

Independent Finance Brokers, Christie Finance, has announced the expansion of its team with the appointment of Finance Consultant, Alex McMillen. This strategic hire is part of Christie Finance’s commitment to growing its specialist real estate offering.

Having joined the company from Hampshire Bank Trust, Alex brings a wealth of experience having worked in the financial industry for over 10 years. Based from the London office, Alex will be working alongside Senior Consultant, Ram Kakar, focusing on Christie Finance’s real estate offering in bridging, property investment & development finance.

James Carter-Brown, Ward Williams Associates

Ward Williams Associates, a leading national property and construction consultancy, has appointed building surveying and project management expert James Carter-Brown as a Partner in its London office.

James, who joins from Knight Frank, brings a wealth of experience across multiple sectors, complementing Ward Williams’ existing strengths.

Working closely with London office head David Carkeek, James will establish a dedicated building surveying and project management team in the capital, further strengthening the firm’s existing national offering. James will also lead the growth of Ward Williams’ national building surveying practice, building on the successes of the established team.
