Maxine Parry - Caresolve

Maxine Parry has been promoted to Managing Director of care home consultancy Caresolve after being with the company for seven years.

Caresolve, which has its base in Birchwood Park, Warrington, supports, guides and mentors care home managers and providers in order to ensure the highest standards of quality care are achieved and maintained. The company has also recruited a number of new people to join its team in the North West.

Maxine commented: “I’m delighted to be appointed as the MD of Caresolve. We’re extremely busy in the aftermath of the Covid 19 pandemic helping care homes across the country to recover. Many homes were severely impacted by the pandemic and are seeking ways to drive new enquiries and occupancy levels.

“Lots of homes need help to become more robust to sustain compliance in their services. We have an established track record of working with homes that are failing to turn them around and also support homes that are ambitious to progress them from a Good rating to an Outstanding Care Quality Commission rating.

“Care homes often struggle to get their culture right but this is something that is absolutely essential to the running of a good home.

“We talk about it more and more since the pandemic, because creating a positive culture in a sustainable care home with a happy team can have a big impact on a home’s success as well as on the welfare and happiness of its residents. It will also lead to better rates of both staff attendance and staff retention, something that is frequently an issue for homes.”

Andrew Leach - C. Hoare & Co.

C. Hoare & Co., the UK’s oldest privately owned bank, today announces the appointment of Andrew Leach as a relationship manager for the North West of England.

The appointment forms part of the bank’s broader strategy to bolster its UK regional presence and further expand its strong presence in the North West, with a particular focus on entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses. In his new role, Andrew will work closely with Simon King, who joined the bank in 2021 as a senior relationship manager.

Andrew joins from NatWest, where he was a senior relationship manager for the West Midlands. He previously worked in private banking at Coutts, and brings a strong blend of experience working with both business owners and high net worth customers.

Rennie Hoare commented: “In the North West, we have developed strong customer relationships with the region’s dynamic entrepreneurs and family businesses.

“This has been enhanced by twinning the longstanding expertise of the bank with highly skilled local presence. Andrew will help us extend this important work. With his appointment, and Simon’s established expertise, we continue to deepen our service for customers.”

Steven Wright - Legal & General Capital

Legal & General Capital (LGC), Legal & General Group’s alternative asset platform and a direct investor, developer, and operator in residential property, announces that it has hired Steven Wright as Portfolio Director for Housing.

This new role, reporting to Managing Director of Housing, Simon Century, reflects Legal & General’s ongoing commitment to scaling up and expanding its diversified housing platform.

Steven brings with him a wealth of knowledge, with over 20 years’ experience in portfolio and investment management across the real estate industry. Prior to joining LGC, Wright was Head of Corporate Investments at Fiera Real Estate (FRE).

In this role he was responsible for the oversight of FRE’s investments across its portfolio of operating partners, including sourcing and restructuring, enabling growth and profitability and aiding on acquisitions, development and disposals.

Previously, Steven worked at DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, Henderson Global Investors, and Palmer Capital Partners, with experience across asset management, fund management, portfolio management and strategy creation as well as leading on complex cross border structures.
