Evelyn Partners continues expansion of Cambridge office with two senior hires
Evelyn Partners, the leading integrated wealth management and professional services group, has bolstered its Cambridge office with the appointment of Mark Prince as an Audit Partner and Suzy Hawkey as Private Client Director.
Mark joins Evelyn Partners from KPMG where he was Audit Director. He has more than 28 years’ experience of working with a wide variety of companies and shareholders, including those in tourism and leisure, hospitality, technology, pharmaceuticals, distribution, construction, automotive, real estate, recruitment, renewable energy, media, manufacturing and IT.
He works predominantly with privately-owned businesses, from start-ups and fast growing, innovative companies to large privately owned and PE backed businesses.
Suzy is an experienced Chartered Tax Adviser and Trust & Estates Practitioner who works with clients to address the unique challenges faced throughout the generations by individuals, trustees and family businesses.
Joining from Deloitte, where she spent more than nine years, Suzy has extensive experience working with individuals and their families to achieve their objectives, implement their strategies and establish long-term tax efficient structures fit for the future.
Evelyn Partners established a presence in Cambridge following the acquisition in April of Ashcroft Partnership LLP, a fast-growing firm of Chartered Accountants and tax specialists based in the city. The 40-strong team in Cambridge offers clients a range of assurance, corporate finance, business and personal tax services.
Tom Shave, Partner at Evelyn Partners commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Mark and Suzy to Evelyn Partners. These appointments demonstrate our commitment to continue investing in expanding the team in our Cambridge office following the acquisition of Ashcroft Partnership earlier this year.
“Mark and Suzy boast extensive experience working with a range of businesses and individuals across the region which will be invaluable as we further develop our professional service presence in the East of England.”
