Wimborne Town FC youth team all kitted out for new season thanks to Barratt Homes
Young footballers in Wimborne can ‘kick-off’ a new season in style, thanks to a leading housebuilder’s sponsorship.
Barratt Homes, which is bringing new homes to Dorset, is sponsoring Wimborne Town Wanderers Under 13s team this year, and the players are now sporting a brand-new football strip, complete with the housebuilder’s logo.
Matt Williams, Wimborne Town Wanderers U13s Manager, said: “We’re thrilled that Barratt is sponsoring our match kits for the 2023/24 season. With our squad numbers increasing to 11 aside, the money has been a tremendous help.
“This is the second year running that Barratt has signed up as sponsor and we’re very grateful. Having support from such a well-known brand is really positive and gives our players a big boost in confidence.”
Barratt is committed to helping organisations in the communities in which it’s building new homes, and the housebuilder was keen to provide its continued help to the Dorset football team.
Tammy Bishop, Barratt Homes Sales Director, said: “We want to show our support to local organisations, and it’s been a real pleasure to sign up as sponsor for Wimborne Town Wanderers Under 13s once again.
“The players look great in their new kits, and we wish them all the best for this year’s football season.”
Wimborne Town FC, including its Youth Section, is fully committed to providing Grassroots football to children and young people in a safe and supportive environment, enabling them to develop both on and off the field and to enjoy the game.
Barratt Homes is building new homes across the region, including at Quarter Jack Park in Wimborne – an exclusive range of two- and three-bedroom homes in the traditional town.
