Salutem Care & Education advances digital learning through Apple technology collaboration

Salutem Care & Education's dedication to transforming the educational landscape for students with complex needs took a significant step forward following a collaborative meeting with Apple and Jigsaw 24 at the iconic Apple UK Headquarters in Battersea Powerstation.

Salutem Care & Education is working with Jigsaw 24, a leading Apple education partner, to incorporate Apple technology into its online education provision.

Ayesha Allen, head of Chiron OEP - the Salutem Care & Education Online School , Chris Brown, divisional director of education, and CEO John Godden, joined forces with key Apple and Jigsaw 24 representatives. The team included Vaughan Daly, Apple education development executive, Stewart Ward, systems engineer at Apple, Terri Stockton, education manager, Carlton Sharpe-Buckley, head of education, and Jack Finnerty, account manager from Jigsaw 24.

The visit offered a unique insight into the transformative power of technology in education. They heard firsthand from Apple digital school trusts about the remarkable impact of integrating technology in classrooms, notably enhancing the quality of learning. 

A standout moment was the demonstration of an iPad-led lesson featuring augmented reality, and John Godden impressively navigating a Virtual Mars Rover model across a desk, showcasing the immersive and interactive potential of modern educational tools.

The Salutem team explored the intricate design of Apple's headquarters and delved into the extensive range of accessibility features built into iPad devices. This exploration aligns with their commitment to inclusivity in education, particularly in facilitating access for individuals with varied educational needs.

Jigsaw 24 is a leading Apple Authorised Education Specialist with extensive experience in integrating Apple technology into educational institutions. Its expertise in creating innovative, tech-driven educational environments aligns perfectly with Salutem's mission to provide education for individuals who may be struggling with mainstream schools.
