Agency launches property 'powerhouse' plans
A joint venture has launched with the aim of becoming a North East “powerhouse of the conveyancing sector”.
South Shields-based Hello Mortgage and Estatio have teamed up with Derby-based law firm Sort Legal to create what bosses say is a ‘triple-threat’ agency that simplifies the property transaction process by offering estate agency, mortgage advice and legal support under one roof.
The venture merges Sort Legal’s conveyancing expertise with Hello Mortgage’s mortgage advice and Estatio’s knowledge of the local property market.
Keith Ahmed, Estatio managing director, said: “We are excited to be joining forces with Sort Legal to create what we believe has the potential to become a powerhouse of the conveyancing sector.
“Offering all three services under one roof offers numerous benefits to our clients.”
Its first branches have opened in South Shields and Teesside, with South Shields already employing 13 staff and plans to grow to more than 25.
The Teesside base has three staff, with further recruitment planned.
Keith added: “We are initially rolling out our new combined branch and hub in the North East, but have plans to expand to other areas in the coming months.”
