Trio of promotions at award-winning law firm

Jacksons Law Firm has promoted three of its team from solicitor to associate solicitor.

The Northern Law Awards’ Law Firm of the Year, which has offices in Newcastle and in Stockton, has recognised the hard work and ambition of Rachael Arbon, Daniel Tumilty and Ellie Honeyman.

Rachael, who joined the firm in April 2022 as assistant head of the residential conveyancing department, said: “I’m really excited about getting embedded into the Jacksons family and the promotion to Associate takes me a little bit further in my career as a lawyer.

“I’m happy that things I have done over the last couple of years have been recognised.

Daniel, a team leader in residential conveyancing, added: “I like working at Jacksons because they genuinely care about the people who work for them and make sure you’re not overstretched in terms of your workload.”

“Becoming an associate has been in the works for a while and it’s something that I’ve been aiming towards, regularly speaking to my supervisor about what I needed to do over the last year and a half to get everything in a row.”

Meanwhile Ellie, who works in the litigation and insolvency team at the firm’s Preston Farm Industrial Estate, added: “I’ve always known that Jacksons is a really good firm, and I knew that this was the team I wanted to go into.

“Becoming an associate wasn’t expected or in my mind with me only starting at Jacksons relatively recently – I didn’t expect to get to that stage as quickly as I did, although it was something I wanted to work towards.”
