Dexterity Partners aids Bhayani Law’s acquisition
A UK business broker has supported the acquisition of a specialist employment law firm, expanding the buyer's regional HR and legal services reach.
Leeds-based Dexterity Partners guided the takeover of Sheffield’s Bhayani Law by Make UK, strengthening the latter’s employment law offerings across the UK.
Bhayani Law, founded by Jay Bhayani in 2014, has steadily expanded to serve businesses and charities nationwide. Make UK’s acquisition aligns with its strategy to grow its customer base and “broaden reach and appeal” by integrating Bhayani Law’s specialised expertise.
Jay said: “I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved in the ten years since Bhayani Law was established.
“To become part of Make UK is a heartwarming endorsement of our success. The collaboration will bring together our mutual strengths, allow more opportunities for my team, greater resources for our clients and enable us to achieve our growth ambitions.
Stephen Phipson, Make UK chief executive, added: “We are delighted to have acquired such a fast-growing, dynamic and successful business in Bhayani Law.
“Our employment law service is already best in class and is a critical part of our offering to manufacturers and other businesses of all sizes.”
The sale was overseen by Simon Brayshaw, co-founder and director of Dexterity Partners, which provides owner-managed and SME businesses with a comprehensive, start-to-finish service for business sales.
Simon added: “It has been brilliant to see Make UK acquire Bhayani Law. Working with Jay from the very start has been a pleasure and it has been great to have achieved what we believe is a ‘win-win’ deal for both parties involved.”
