Muckle welcomes six aspiring lawyers
Newcastle-based commercial law firm Muckle LLP has appointed five trainee solicitors and one solicitor apprentice, bringing its total number of trainees to 19.
The new cohort includes Eleanor Amies-King, Annie Bell, Pippa Garden, Louis Hutton, Megan McCaughey, and apprentice Cassie Woodier, all set to gain hands-on experience across multiple teams.
The group includes North East natives and graduates of local universities, reflecting Muckle’s commitment to fostering regional talent. The new appointments will gain experience in areas such as corporate, real estate and employment law.
Annie said: “When applying for training contracts, Muckle’s commitment to people really stood out for me; everyone is accepted for who they are and empowered to do what’s right for them. I’m excited to learn from some of the fantastic lawyers here over the next two years.”
Her comments were echoed by Pippa, who added: “The people and the support (both professional and personal) are some of the key reasons I applied here.
“Everyone has been so welcoming and I’m really looking forward to growing my professional network over the next two years.”
Jason Wainwright, managing partner at Muckle, added: “Investing in new talent is so important to the future of Muckle, and I am delighted to welcome these six aspiring lawyers to the firm.
“Many of our partners, associates and solicitors began their journeys here as trainees, and we are committed to providing the same opportunities for development and success to the next generation.
“I have no doubt that Annie, Cassie, Eleanor, Louis, Megan and Pippa will excel in their careers here.”
