Hicomply celebrates innovation award

A North East compliance and information security leader is marking significant achievements, including an award win and key client milestones.

Hicomply has been awarded the prestigious ‘Innovation Award’ at the 2024 CyberNorth Awards, recognising its cutting-edge Information Security Management platform and its efforts to redefine cyber and information security practices.

The team is also celebrating some key client success and framework wins, including being awarded the G-Cloud 14 framework contract, enabling it to streamline access to its products and solutions for government agencies.

In addition to these successes, earlier this year Hicomply announced a partnership with CyberNorth, the North East’s cybersecurity cluster, helping to further strengthen the region’s role in creating a safer digital landscape and promote a cybersecurity community.

Ed Bartlett, chief executive at Hicomply said: “We were delighted to receive the Innovation Award at this year’s CyberNorth Awards. It’s a real celebration of our technology, our team and our ambitious approach to changing the game in the ISMS world.

“We want to stand out not only for our innovation and the quality of our solutions, but for our customer experience and how we support our clients and our industry.

“Being part of the CyberNorth community provides us with access to a vibrant network of cybersecurity experts and opportunities that align with our mission to create a secure, globally connected business ecosystem.

“We’ve already benefited from this partnership, not just from the collective knowledge within the community but also through new business connections, including partnerships with HTG, Net Defence, and Waterstons.

“We’re at a very exciting stage in our scale up journey and can’t wait to showcase some new and updates over the coming months.”
