Gateley Legal strengthens real estate team
Gateley Legal has expanded its real estate dispute resolution team with the appointment of Martin Thomas as a partner in its London office.
Thomas, a solicitor, advocate, and qualified mediator, brings 35 years of experience in real estate disputes. Previously heading teams at Gowling WLG and Herbert Smith Freehills, he specialises in landlord and tenant matters, development issues and telecoms disputes, including high-profile cases under the Electronic Communications Code.
At Gateley Legal, Thomas will collaborate with the firm’s property and construction teams, as well as consultancy specialists at Gateley Hamer, to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.
He said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Gateley Legal to support with developing the multi-disciplinary property and construction offering in London.
“I’m looking forward to working alongside the consultancy professionals, and some familiar legal peers, to deliver forward thinking solutions for clients.”
Based in offices in Birmingham, Manchester and London, Gateley Legal’s real estate dispute resolution team works with property owners, corporate occupiers, developers, investors and management companies on a wide range of property-related dispute matters.
