Office deal just the tonic for design firm
A commercial design and build firm has scored a contract on a £150 million footballer-backed development.
Design Tonic is fitting out communal areas in Manchester’s No.1 St. Michael’s office scheme.
The building is part of the £400 million St. Michael’s project, which is being delivered by ex-Manchester United footballer Gary Neville’s Relentless Developments and includes offices, apartments, hotels, shops and a rooftop restaurant.
Leeds-based Design Tonic is creating a reception area, business lounge, multiple lobbies, changing rooms and communal areas in the 200,000sq ft No.1 St. Michael’s space, which will spread across nine floors.
Amanda Cook, Design Tonic co-founder, said: “No.1 St Michael’s is a truly impressive project, and we are delighted to have been appointed.
“The team will be creating spaces that balance contemporary elegance with practicality and accessibility.”
Anthony Kilbride, Relentless Developments director, added: “The team at Design Tonic impressed us with their extensive experience delivering outstanding office interiors.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with them as we bring to life our vision for the communal areas of No.1 St. Michael’s.”
Founded in 2018, Design Tonic works across the hospitality, office, retail and leisure sectors.
