MSB Solicitors expands family law team
MSB Solicitors has strengthened its family law offering with two appointments at its Birmingham office, less than a year after opening.
International family law partner Gemma Kelsey and senior associate Hannah Stubbs have joined the firm, bringing extensive expertise to MSB's growing team.
Gemma Kelsey, a family law specialist with 16 years of experience, is highly regarded for handling complex cross-border disputes involving child abduction, relocation and international contact issues. A founding member of the Child Abduction Lawyers Association, Gemma has earned recognition from Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for her expertise and commitment to access to justice.
Hannah Stubbs, recognised as a ‘key lawyer’ in Legal 500 from 2023 to 2025, brings a wealth of experience in financial disputes during divorce proceedings. With a background in property law, she offers valuable insight into cohabitee disputes, trusts and complex property matters, alongside children’s issues and nuptial agreements.
Emma Palmer, head of family law at MSB Solicitors, said: "The appointments of Gemma and Hannah are a significant boost for our Birmingham clients, strengthening two core areas in which our family team excels - international family law and financial relief."
Emma Carey, managing partner at MSB Solicitors, added: "We are thrilled to welcome Gemma and Hannah to our team, bringing with them a wealth of expertise.
“Their appointments are crucial as we continue to focus on expanding and enhancing the growth of our Birmingham office.
“Our family law services will play a pivotal role in this growth strategy."
