Humber Business Week gears up for 2025
A business event in the Humber region is preparing for its 2025 edition with a preview session offering support and insights for new and returning participants.
‘Get Ready for Humber Business Week 2025’ will take place in the Circle Restaurant at Hull’s MKM Stadium this Thursday (January 23), unveiling a new website and guiding attendees through the Biz Week event process.
Pat Coyle, chair of Humber Business Week, said: “I was delighted with the level of involvement by businesses and other organisations at Biz Week 2024, but we didn’t want to wait 12 months until the next one so we decided to do something new to bridge the gap and to help people get ready for June 2025.
“By turning the annual stakeholder meeting into a preview and preparation event we’ve already had many more people sign up to attend than we usually attract for our stakeholder get-together, and we’re expecting more to register in the coming days.
“We’ve made a significant investment to make it easier for organisations to get involved in Humber Business Week, to help them raise awareness of what they do and to promote collaboration – all under the Biz Week banner of bridging business, showcasing excellence.”
Speakers including Matt Scarr, Helen Thompson and Paul McCartan will share their experiences, alongside a presentation skills masterclass from Hull Truck Theatre. Future Humber will also explore how place branding is enhancing the region’s reputation, while students from Hull College will gain hands-on experience in event management roles.
Pat added: “Above all, with this event we’re raising the bar with bold changes, a refreshed Humber narrative, and a renewed focus on collaboration, inclusion and excellence.
“This is an opportunity for every business to contribute, connect and help shape a remarkable Humber Business Week 2025.
“Whether you’re a seasoned participant or a first-time organiser, this session will equip you with the tools, insights, and inspiration needed to make 2025 our best year yet.”
The Humber Business Week runs from June 2, featuring key events such as the Chamber Expo and The Business Day at Bridlington Spa. The full programme will be revealed at Hull Truck Theatre on April 10.
