Wander set to go stateside with trade mission

A North East creative powerhouse is heading to one of the world’s biggest innovation festivals after securing a coveted spot on the UK@SXSW2025 Trade Mission.

Middlesbrough-based Wander, which was recently shortlisted for a Royal Television Society Award, has been selected by the UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) to represent British creativity at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas.

Competing against thousands of applicants, Wander joins an elite group of UK businesses showcasing expertise in content marketing, immersive tech, branding and design.

SXSW, which runs from March 7 to 15, attracts over 300,000 industry leaders, investors and creatives.

As part of the trade mission, Wander will gain access to exclusive networking events, strategic business support and promotional opportunities, opening doors to new commercial prospects in the US and beyond.

Chloë Clover, chief executive and co-founder of Wander, who will attend alongside chief operating officer and co-founder Lou Tonner, said: “We’re stoked to have been selected to represent the best of the UK’s creative industries!

“SXSW will allow us to break into this new market, make connections, collaborate with other agencies and accelerate our expansion into the US.”
