Women in Property names new chair
Women in Property (WiP) has appointed Zoë Murphy as its Yorkshire and North East chair for 2025-26.
Zoë, an associate solicitor at Knights, began her one-year term on March 1.
Based in Leeds, she specialises in commercial property law, advising clients on acquisitions, disposals and lettings.
A long-standing member of WiP, she has served on the Yorkshire and North East branch committee for five years.
Zoë said: “I am honoured to be appointed branch chair, to help guide our regional team.
“I am very much looking forward to the year ahead and continuing to work with our fabulous committee.
“I feel privileged to have been part of this supportive and inspiring network from an early stage in my career.
“Thank you to our dedicated committee members who continuously put in the effort to guarantee our events are a success and to all our members and supporters.”
WiP works to improve gender parity in the property and construction industry through mentoring, outreach and networking initiatives.
Zoë will be supported by Kelly Brown, solicitor at CMS, who steps into the vice chair role before taking over as chair in 2026.
