DC Advisory expands Manchester team
DC Advisory, an international investment bank, has hired Andy Westbrook as managing director in its Manchester office.
With nearly 30 years of corporate finance experience, Andy will lead the firm’s efforts to grow its Northern presence, joining a team of 20 in Manchester and 230 across the UK.
Previously a practice senior partner at Deloitte in the North West, Andy has advised on over 175 transactions, including major deals such as the sale of Footasylum and Everton Football Club.
His expertise spans business services, consumer, real estate and sports.
Andy said: “DC Advisory has built a strong reputation in Manchester and the UK, alongside genuinely integrated international expertise.
“I’m looking forward to joining a firm that shares my values and commitment to putting clients first and I can’t wait to be a part of DC Advisory's Northern growth.”
This marks DC Advisory’s 36th senior hire in the last 24 months as the firm continues to invest in top talent to expand its global mid-market investment banking services.
Tim Morris, DC Advisory, UK chief executive, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Andy to the Manchester team.
“Where other businesses have scaled back their Northern presence in recent years, DC Advisory has invested considerably in senior talent, deepening relationships with private equity and tech-enabled businesses that are thriving in the region.
“I have no doubt Andy’s exceptional track record advising clients and his experience building a successful M&A business will genuinely make a difference for our clients and colleagues.”
