NW Mutual appoints new CFO
NW Mutual, a mutual bank based in the North West of England, has appointed Iwan Jones as chief financial officer.
Iwan, with over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, has previously worked at Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, NatWest, JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank.
He has also held senior roles such as chief risk officer at Saffron Building Society and financial director at Monmouthshire Building Society.
Iwan’s appointment comes as NW Mutual plans to open over 60 branches across the North West, offering a range of financial products to individuals and small businesses.
NW Mutual’s innovative ‘bricks, clicks, and flicks’ model will combine hi-tech branches with online and mobile banking, serving an underserved region with a focus on the local community.
