Wine importer expands with £250,000 loan
A wine importer is raising a glass to expansion plans after securing a £250,000 loan.
Dynamic Vines is opening a store and wine bar in East Dulwich, London.
The operator has been backed by Yorkshire-based Finance For Enterprise, with bosses saying the venture will create up to three jobs.
The store is expected to open in the coming months.
Founded two decades ago by Frederic Grappe in Bermondsey, Dynamic Vines imports and distributes biodynamic wines from independent makers across Europe.
It supplies ranges to customers including Harrods, Connaught Hotel and Four Seasons.
Frederic said: “We work with independent winemakers who produce outstanding wines using sustainable practices in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the cellar.
“Our new store and bar will give customers an opportunity to enjoy these exceptional wines in a welcoming and immersive environment.”
Gurinder Mandir, senior business lending manager at Doncaster-based Finance For Enterprise, added: “We are delighted to support Dynamic Vines’ expansion and help bring its vision to life.
“This investment will not only boost direct-to-consumer sales but create new job opportunities.”
