Switalskis expands family law team
Switalskis Solicitors has strengthened its family law team with the appointment of specialist solicitor Juliet Walker to lead its growth in York and Ryedale.
With over 25 years of experience, Juliet brings expertise in complex financial disputes, high-net-worth divorces and international family law.
She has a strong track record in handling cases involving family businesses, trusts, and generational assets, particularly for farmers and landowners.
Juliet, who was born and raised near Whitby, is also trained in mediation and collaborative law, supporting out-of-court dispute resolution where possible.
She said: “I admire Switalskis’ commitment to providing compassionate and expert legal support to individuals navigating challenging family law matters.
“I’m pleased to join Switalskis as it embarks on further growth in this important area of law.
“While we grow our team’s presence in York and Ryedale, my priority continues to be helping clients navigate what can be a highly emotional and challenging time in their lives.”
Juliet’s appointment reinforces Switalskis’ commitment to providing expert legal support in family matters across the region.
Clare Peckett, Switalskis director and head of the family law team, added: “Juliet’s a highly respected solicitor with an excellent track record in family law.
“Her experience in complex financial cases and private children matters is a great asset to our team and clients.
“She combines a calm and empathetic presence with a robust approach, ensuring the best possible outcomes for her clients.
“I am delighted she’s part of our team and confident she will be a tremendous champion for our growth.”
