Firms score waste deal at business club
A North East automotive group and football club have joined forces with a local waste management provider.
Pulman Group and South Shields FC have switched their waste disposal contracts to NWH, a family-owned business offering recycling and waste collection services across the region.
The connection was forged at the football club’s ‘business club’ networking event, where NWH was recommended to Chris Slater, Pulman Group’s commercial director, by South Shields’ club director Carl Mowatt.
Carl said: “After our positive experience with the switch to NWH we were happy to recommend their services to our sponsor Pulman Group.
“We were really impressed by their friendliness and aftersales care service they provided us with.”
Chris added: “The opportunities presented at the business club are fundamental.
“Without it we wouldn’t have been able to make the connection with Graeme from NWH and the relationship between all three parties would never have developed or thrived.”
Graeme Dixon, account manager for NWH, added: “We want to work with companies who have sustainability objectives they want to achieve, people who are ambitious and they need and want the support of experts like us.
“Because we offer a 360 service, we really can work with the smallest type of business up to large corporate organisations.”
