Gateley Legal expands residential development team
Gateley Legal has appointed partner Natalie Edwards and legal director Laura Murphy to its residential development team in Birmingham, both joining from Eversheds Sutherland.
Natalie, with 25 years’ experience, specialises in land development, sustainable urban extensions and build-to-rent schemes.
Laura, with nearly 20 years of experience, focuses on national residential development projects and land acquisitions.
Gateley Legal represents 18 of the UK’s top 20 housebuilders and manages around 15,000 plot sales annually.
Callum Nuttall, partner and national head of the residential development team at Gateley Legal, said: “It’s brilliant to have Natalie and Laura on board with us in Birmingham.
“They bring impressive track records and will play valuable roles in servicing both new and long-term existing client relationships.
“Their appointments follow on from the recent hire of Simon Robinson – bringing our West Midlands team alone to a total of eight partners – and form part of strategic plans to bolster our specialist residential development offering nationally as we continue to deliver some of the biggest property and regeneration schemes across the country.”
