Switalskis hires first chief financial officer

Switalskis Solicitors has appointed Alex Moore as its first-ever chief financial officer to support its continued growth across Yorkshire and London.

Alex, a chartered accountant and ICAEW member, brings senior finance experience from large corporates and was most recently chief financial officer at engineering firm Cutwel. 

She will now lead on budgeting, financial strategy and cash management, providing key data to inform business decisions as Switalskis scales further.

Alex said: “Switalskis is a forward-thinking firm with a strong culture and talented team. 

“In my previous roles I have seen the reporting, financial discipline and structures needed to be successful and I know this experience will help drive the success of this business even further. 

“My focus will be on building on Switalskis’ financial controls, management reporting, and advise on operational efficiencies to support its growth ambitions.

“This will provide a solid foundation that will allow our leadership team to focus on the vital areas needed for strategic growth and continuing exceptional client service.”

The firm, which was recently named ‘Large Law Firm of the Year’ at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, has also been recognised in the Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work list.
