
Crowell & Moring adds AI partner
Emma Wright, a market-leading lawyer in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, has joined Crowell & Moring UK LLP as a partner in its privacy and cybersecurity group.
Emma will advise clients on complex regulatory matters and technology procurements with a government or regulatory interface.
Co-founder of the Interparliamentary Forum on Emerging Technologies and an executive committee member of UNESCO’s Women4EthicalAI, Emma brings deep expertise in AI, data regulation, cybersecurity, telecom and online safety regulation.
She joins from Harbottle & Lewis, where she led the technology, data and digital group, and previously served as a policy advisor in the UK Government.
Emma, who is ranked by The Legal 500 and Chambers UK and listed by Computer Weekly as one of the Top 20 Most Influential Women in Tech, said: “Crowell’s privacy and cybersecurity group is among the most respected within the market.

Emma’s appointment follows recent senior hires in Crowell’s London team, continuing the firm’s expansion in the privacy and cybersecurity sector.
