New trainee solicitor for McCormicks
McCormicks Solicitors has appointed a new trainee solicitor to its crime and fraud team.
Suzie Godden joined the Harrogate-based practice as a criminal law executive last year.
She has also recently been admitted as a probationary accredited police station representative, extending the department's ability to assist individuals interviewed by the police or other bodies such as HMRC or the Department for Work and Pensions.
This accreditation allows Suzie to provide legal representation to those in need of publicly funded criminal defence work, a service McCormicks is proud to offer.
McCormicks is the only Harrogate firm ranked for General Crime and Fraud in the latest edition of the UK Legal 500.
Peter Minnikin, partner at McCormicks, said: “Suzie has already demonstrated her ability to work hard and build important relationships with our clients.
“She is a valued member of the busy and growing team so we are delighted to help her make the next step towards her qualification as a solicitor.”
