Broker backs Swinton Estate’s green mission
An insurance broker is deepening its environmental commitment by partnering with a sustainability initiative rooted in North Yorkshire countryside.
Bradford-headquartered TL Dallas has joined Nourish, a corporate programme led by the Swinton Estate to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint, support biodiversity and boost environmental literacy.
As a member, TL Dallas can invest in local schemes, participate in conservation projects and access climate-focused training through the Estate’s Climate Action Academy.
The initiative also includes nature-based wellbeing activities and carbon literacy courses tailored to SMEs, further aligning the firm’s century-long legacy with forward-thinking environmental action.
Polly Staveley, managing director at TL Dallas, said: “As a business with strong Yorkshire roots and a longstanding commitment to our clients, colleagues and communities, we’re excited to join Nourish.
“This partnership gives us the opportunity to accelerate our sustainability journey in a meaningful way.
“We’re investing in a better future for our people and the planet.”
Iain Shelton, chief executive at the Swinton Estate, added: “TL Dallas is a great addition to our programme and we’re pleased our network continues to grow.
“The Swinton Estate is based in 20,000 acres of grounds that has the potential to provide many natural solutions to the climate-related challenges we face today, and Nourish will empower our partners to invest and develop their own programmes that deliver environmentally beneficial and tangible results.”
