Gordons appoints private client specialist
Law firm Gordons LLP has expanded its private client team with the appointment of specialist lawyer Victoria Jones.
Victoria joins from Ridley & Hall Solicitors and brings expertise in wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.
She is advising Gordons’ longstanding clients while developing new relationships across the practice.
Victoria said: “Gordons’ private client practice is extremely well regarded, so I am very pleased to have the opportunity to contribute towards its continued success.
“I have joined a highly capable team with a deep and diverse range of clients, and one which has the desire to attract more individuals who want to benefit from the firm’s distinct relationship-led approach.”
Victoria’s appointment to the private client team follows that of chartered tax advisor Isca Watson, who specialises in inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax, advising trustees, personal representatives and private individuals.
Gordons, headquartered in Leeds, employs 170 people and works with major clients including AO, Morrisons, Molson Coors and Evri.
Greg Dixon, partner and head of private client at Gordons, added: “Victoria has the ideal combination of being both highly personable and technically excellent at what she does.
“In the short space of time since joining the firm, Victoria has made a significant positive impact and we look forward to her continuing to do so.
“By expanding the team with her and Isca’s appointments, we are able to provide our clients with additional insight and advice.”
