Ward Hadaway expands with Birmingham office
A law firm has expanded with a city office move.
Ward Hadaway has opened a base in Birmingham.
Bosses say the site will create a number of jobs and tap into the West Midlands’ “powerhouse” business environment.
They add the office – in Birmingham’s Chamberlain Square – will build on recent record results and bolster growth plans that seek to smash the £100 million turnover barrier by 2034.
It also comes as the firm – which already has offices in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle – continues merger talks with Teesside-based law firm The Endeavour Partnership.
Steven Petrie, Ward Hadaway managing partner, said: “Birmingham is a thriving legal hub.
“Our research shows there is significant demand for a firm like ours – one that is committed to meeting the needs of the region’s businesses, organisations and communities across the West Midlands, as they strive to grow, diversify and respond to challenging economic times.
“Our presence in Birmingham will enable us to provide the support businesses need to navigate complex legal challenges and seize new opportunities.
“We are recruiting talented and experienced professionals for the office, who are eager to better support the ambitions of businesses across the region.”
In its latest results to April 30, 2024, Ward Hadaway saw annual revenue rise seven per cent to £48 million.
Profit remained steady at £17.24 million.
